Historic buildings come back to life

Fesikhane dates back to the 19th century and is mainly industrial buildings belonging to Ottoman architecture, which have been closed for about 100 years. It is located in the Zeytinburnu area in the European section of Istanbul. The archaeological area has been restored in a way that preserves the historical heritage of the place. Fesikhane contains a number of restaurants, cafes, and places designated for concerts and cultural events, becoming a tourist destination for many visitors from inside and outside Turkey.
